Josh Wolf

Josh Wolf visited our class on Thursday, October 4, at about 1:45 p.m.

Wolf is a citizen journalist and video blogger. He has been imprisoned longer than any other journalist in U.S. history by a federal court in California for failure to turn over some videotapes of a demonstration he observed in San Francisco. He was kept in the federal prison in Dublin, California, for 226 days and was released on April 3, 2007.

Wolf was awarded Journalist of the Year in 2006 by the Society of Professional Journalists. He is visiting Columbus in October to speak to the Ohio Bar Association.

Wolf produces a blog known as The Revolution Will Be Televised.

Warren Hoge

Warren Hoge has had a long and distinguished career at The New York Times. For the past several years he has been United Nations correspondent. Here is the OSU press release announcing his visit to campus on October 23, 2007.

Graham Walden

Walden is a professor of university libraries and an expert on survey research. Professor Walden is the university's librarian in charge of the communication, journalism and several other collections.
